This range of high quality carriers is unusual in that the MaxxRaxx can be tilted whist loaded permitting access to the boot of the car- and that is at the same time as having a trailer attached!
Normally we only keep the more popular four bike version in stock - but there are two bike versions also.
MaxxRaxx have solutions to problems that cannot be overcome with other manufacturers products. If you have trouble with your bikes fouling on the front of your trailer or caravan, MaxxRaxx have a height extension adaptor which will raise your bikes up to clear jockey wheel handles etc.
Unusually, MaxxRaxx offer a five bike carrier. It is essential to calculate the total load of your bikes, the carrier itself and lighting board for this version. It is likely that the total weight will exceed the permitted towbar vertical load for most family cars.
When you buy a MaxxRaxx, you buy a complete kit. All necessary straps are included, as are keyed alike padlocks for securing the carrier to the car and also for securing the bikes to the carrier. If the MaxxRaxx is to be used without a trailer attached to the car, it is likely that you will need an additional lighting board and number plate. MaxxRaxx have designed an easy to use lighting board holder that fits solidly to the carrier once the bikes are loaded.
